Hi, my name is Molly. I’m 35, I’m a dual citizen to both Canada and the US. I’m outdoorsy, I’m a dorky individual who likes plants and wants to pet all the animals, I collect comics, I’m a gym goer, I have an interest in homesteading. I also teach yoga, and am looking at my personal training certifications.
I’m a Jill of all trades and master of none.

I am also someone who wants to keep the excitement of writing letters to other countries alive, because it’s something we’ve taken for granted in this day and age. Everything is so convenient, that it’s easy to forget the satisfaction of achieving simple tasks… and I kind of hate it.

Culturally there’s a bit of a diversity for me. I have a First Nations father (Native American), and a Caucasian mother. I’m connected to my heritage, from my father, however.. not so much from my mother’s side. My mothers side has Scandinavian heritage, and I would like to dive in and learn something about it.

I can speak Cree, not as fluently anymore, I can understand more when listening than I am better at conversing.

So, if you care to banter, have coffee and exchange messages or talk on Discord, let me know!
I’m interested!

See ya!

  1. Why not reconnect with your Norwegian family? If you have any information I can help and see if its possible to track them down

  2. Hi! What do you want to learn? I have adhd so I guess I have an approximate knowledge of many things. Also, new people exite me, so either way, im open to get to know you better and talk about everything and nothing.

  3. Typical Norwegian here, so I don’t like to connect, but if you want to read something interesting, you should read “The Land of Feast and Famine” and “The Apache Indians” buy Norwegian Explorer and author Helge Ingstad.

They are about his life as a trapper with “the caribou eaters” in Canada in the 1920’s, and his wisits to the Apache tribes in northern Mexico.

A slight warning tho, is that the books were written in the 1930’s with the world view that follows.
