Hi everyone,
I wanted to share an experience that has recently been reported in the Maltese media. A police unit broke into our apartment without a warrant, restrained us at gunpoint, and only later discovered that they had entered the wrong residence. None of us had any connection to their investigation.
It was a terrifying ordeal, one that has left us coping with both emotional and legal consequences. We’re now seeking justice through the proper legal channels, but I feel it’s also important to speak openly about what happened. Mistakes like this should never occur, and when they do, there must be transparency and accountability.
I’m sharing this not to assign blame or seek sympathy, but to raise awareness.
Everyone should be able to feel safe in their own home.
Thank you for taking the time to read.

i have a US friend. he is ex HSI (like fbi) and we talked about this. so TLDR; such raids have no place in malta because this tactic was created to enter armed fortresses/compounds (cartel dens/crackhouses/human smuggling houses) in US guns r common so this tactic was created.
just read it in the news, please keep us updated – so sorry for you guys wth???
Who ever they were after will have now have had plenty of notice. Completely unintentional I’m sure.
That’s what happens when people are promoted on grounds of party loyalty instead of capabilities.
