The coach of the Albanian national football team, Silvinjo, says that tomorrow’s match against Andorra is “difficult”, but says that Albania has never been so close to the World Cup play-offs.
The Reds are looking for a win tomorrow to have a chance to face off in the Play-Offs for a spot in the World Cup, which if it were to happen, would be historic.
What do you expect from tomorrow’s match and will there be any changes from the match you played in Albania against Andorra?
They are different matches because the Andorra coach knows his team well, they concede a maximum of two goals even in Tirana it was difficult. The latest results show that they are a team that fights for every ball and every centimeter
Do you think that the fact that they play at home will make a difference in the result and do you believe that Albania can make it to the World Cup?
We are growing a lot, but others are growing too. The differences in football continue to become smaller. When you play abroad it is different than at home, the numbers show this for us too. We will do our utmost to reach the World Cup.
A match we must win, can you tell us something about the preparation for this match?
The team will be the same in terms of the spirit of the competition, whether there will be one more or one less striker is a technical matter, but we are a team that has created an identity and we have shown that we maintain our composure and come out of difficult situations and find the goal.
