Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham is expected to start from the bench for England’s World Cup qualifier against Serbia.
According to “The Guardian”, coach Thomas Tuchel has decided to give priority to Aston Villa player Morgan Rogers in the role of attacking midfielder (number 10), leaving Bellingham out of the starting lineup.
Rogers has started the last three matches for the Three Lions, including the convincing 5-0 victory over Serbia in the previous match.
The report adds that Bellingham was not left out for disciplinary reasons, but rather for tactical reasons, as Tuchel wants to test new options in attack. England have already qualified and the German coach is using the remaining matches to assess the balance of the squad.

On the other hand, Manchester City’s Nico O’Reilly is expected to make his England debut, being part of the starting lineup for the first time.
The decision is seen as a clear signal from Tuchel that no player is guaranteed a place, regardless of name or status. Bellingham remains one of England and Real Madrid’s top stars, but it looks like he will have to adapt to the coach’s tactical demands to regain his starting role.Telegraph
