CSS removed their entire AI chatbot stuff months ago and now made it an official statement. Instead they hired more people instead

You know where the money is?
In yanking the dumb consumers’ chain, by holding the carrot or the stick in their hand, while you run after them “ohh no, there goes my job” “ohh look at this company they are so good because they now say they will protect my job”
Doesn’t make you less of a donkey, on a chain

personally i am boycotting most AI stuff. I’m open minded for something actually useful, but I didn’t yet find a lot of that. i still think ai will have an impact on the job market, but this is at least some positive news.

I’ve been spamming that AI is absolutely mediocrity passed off as progress, and appealing only to those who worship mediocrity and are scared of being behind the curve.
so yano, I guess different contexts lol.

Oh yeah, one company pulling back because their infrastructure is ancient and cannot support a modern AI.
AI will take all jobs, it will start at repetitive stuff, continue to white collar, from mathematicians / physicists to psychologists. It will end at the blue collars, mainly construction.
Denying it, is ignorance. You will be replaced, the rich will move on, we will be “removed”.

This will happen to every company that uses these AI chatbots for customer support. Everyone except the inept middle management knows it’s a terrible idea and that customers hate it. Many insurance companies and banks use it and it’s always horrendous.
It’s nice for a stupid manager to have a “50% call time reduction” on their report when they ask for a promotion. But eventually they will also find the “90% negative customer experiences” and cancel it.
Edit: Can someone find the source for this? I would love to read the blog but can’t find it.
