Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has exploded into criticism, demanding money from UEFA and FIFA for the injuries that players are receiving, most recently Amir Rrahmani when he represented Kosovo.
De Laurentiis mentioned the injuries of Rrahman and Franck Anguisa with the Cameroon national team, which according to him have also caused problems for the Italian team.
He said that Rrahmani returned to Napoli “ruined”, while FIFA and UEFA should compensate the clubs.
“We loaned Rrahmani and he came back in ruins. Anguisa came back in ruins too. It can’t continue like this. When there are championships, I have to go to the end without interruption. There should be fewer teams, fewer matches played.”

“Players receive salaries from clubs and clubs should be able to decide whether to send players to the national team or not. If a player gets injured with the national team, a transfer window should be reopened and we should be compensated. But it seems that FIFA and UEFA don’t care at all about national championships,” he told Italian media.
Rrahmani otherwise returned to Kosovo after missing in October, and is expected to be a starter in the match against Slovenia.Telegraph/
