MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A 53-year-old woman who was living in Morgantown, WV when she was arrested has pleaded guilty to lying about war crimes she committed in Bosnia and Herzegovina to gain U.S. citizenship.
Nada Radovan Tomanic was arrested in December 2023. According to an indictment, Tomanic was involved in the “physical and mental abuse of Bosnian Serb prisoners” in the 1990s.
