(ABC 6 News) — Hormel Foods is holding its second annual Hometown Turkey Takeover on Saturday, November 15.
It’s a drive-through event at the Mower County Fairgrounds in Austin where members of the community can get two frozen Jenny-O turkey breasts for free.
There will also be canned foods donated by Hy-Vee.
Hormel anticipates about 7000 turkey breasts will be donated during the event, and an additional 3000 will be donated to Mower County organizations in an effort to reduce food insecurity.
