November 17 – The France Football Federation (FFF) has extended and expanded its partnership with Orange, keeping the telecom company as a key commercial partner through May 2030.
Orange has been with the federation for seven years, and the new deal keeps the brand tied to every level of the French game, from the men’s and women’s national teams to youth, grassroots, and amateur soccer.
A key piece of the renewal is the equal focus on both sides of the sport with the agreement splitting investment 50/50 between the men’s and women’s programmes, a shift the FFF says lines up with its long-term development goals.
FFF president Philippe Diallo, said: “The FFF has made women’s football one of its top priorities for the coming years. Orange’s support, with a partnership allocated 50% to men’s football and 50% to women’s football, will help us achieve our ambitions of doubling the number of our registered female players by 2030.”
The previous deal was valued at $6.5 million per year, and was set to run through mid-2026.
Orange France CEO Jérôme Hénique called the renewed deal a major milestone. “With the FFF, we have found an ideal partner to amplify the emotions while building a fairer and more equal playing field. This is the whole point of this renewed partnership, which marks a major step forward with, for the first time, an equal financial commitment to the development of men’s and women’s football,” said Hénique.
