Horrifying. You order a curry and get stalked and raped. He only got 5 years and 9 months too, so he’ll be out in 3 years. Awful story.
Three years is way too long between the crime and the trial. No wonder people don’t want to bring a trial, they’re walking around running into the perp while they wait.

Make it 10 years minimum for sexual assault. And no chance of early parole. Sexually assault or rape someone, you’re behind bars for 10 years. Longer of course for more serious offences.

We need to 10x sentences across the board and bring back IPPs.
