The Parliamentary Committee on Electoral Affairs and Appointments has begun interviews with candidates for the position of chair of the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption.
Today and tomorrow, 10 candidates will be interviewed, after which the selection and election of the chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission will take place.
Former mayor Tatjana Dimitrovska resigned due to allegations in the “Addiv” case.
“Today we start with the interviews with 5 of them, tomorrow we continue with the other 5. It is planned that the day after the interviews we will meet as a Commission and, according to the form and the law, respecting the procedures, we will rank the candidates and each member will evaluate them separately.”
“The plan is that at the end of the week, according to what the Assembly determines, that is, on Friday, the Parliamentary Committee for Elections and Appointments will be convened and the chairman of the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption will be elected after the evaluation by the Selection Committee,” said Bojan Stojanovski.
