Albania makes history, defeats Andorra and secures the World Cup play-offs

The Red and Blacks achieved a big 1-0 victory against Andorra in the penultimate match of the World Cup qualifiers.
Despite Albania’s dominance in the game, the first half was lackluster with Gjimshiti having the best chance, after a header the ball stopped in the crossbar.
In the second half, Albania came out strong, where after a shot by Hoxha, the ball was saved by the opposing goalkeeper.
In the 67th minute of the match, midfielder Kristjan Asllani hit a beautiful ball after an assist from Myrto Uzun and that was how the match ended, writes Gazeta Express.
With this victory for Albania and Serbia’s loss in the other match that took place at the same time against England, the red and black team secures second place in the group and a place in the playoffs for the 2026 World Cup.
