      lol, I just had a talk with my supervisor about measures against the heat in our offices, knowing that it won’t get any colder in the future. Our windows face south, so we have constant sun. Also, we have a parking lot in front of the building, so the heat accumulates.

      **Question:** Can we put in an AC?

      **Answer:** No, we want to be climate neutral and AC are bad for the climate. Also expensive.

      **Question:** Ok. We only have some weak textile blinds that are useless. Can we at least get new blinds?

      **Answer:** No, that is too expensive.

      **Question:** Ok. Our rent contract says that we are not allowed to let the shades down during the weekend. So after a sunny weekend, I come back to my office and have 30+ degrees at 7 in the morning. Can we at least talk about this?

      **Answer:** No, the building has to look proper on weekends, so all the blinds and shades have to be put up during the weekend.

      **Question:** Ok. Well, there are reflective films that reflect the sun and keep the heat out. Can I install them on the windows? I even pay for them.

      **Answer:** No, you are not allowed to install anything on the window. Furthermore, if you install something, everybody else also wants protection from the sun.

      **Question:** Ok. So what do you suggest?

      **Answer:** Well, we just have to adapt to the heat ¯_(ツ)_/¯
