Warning: Harassment and hyper intrusive behavior (office in Lausanne and Bern)

At first it seemed like a good move: they just wanted to do a social survey and sent me a request in the mail to do an interview. I was already overwhelmed (I still am, I’m also someone who struggles with anxiety and stress, etc.) and I absolutely have no time for this type of interview. Even if they offer 30.– for an interview this amount does not correspond to my value and is not worth my time.

Since I was extremely stressed, I didn’t have the mental space to respond to them right away. Over the course of a few weeks, I received about five letters in the mail asking about my availability, with no option to just say “no thanks.” After the fifth letter, I finally responded with a date, specifying that I was only available by video call.

Then I started getting calls from them while I was on vacation (a vacation I really needed). Not being in Switzerland and not wanting to manage this from Asia, I did not respond. They then continued via WhatsApp. I explained to them that I was on vacation, that I had already made an appointment, and that everything was in order in my opinion.

And there, they inform me that they absolutely have to speak to me before the interview to explain I don’t know what… when I thought it was just an hour-long interview. Then they tell me that the interview cannot be done by video, and that they must either come to my house or meet me elsewhere. Sorry but… wtf. 1. I never invite strangers to my house. 2. I don’t want to waste even more time traveling for them.

So I thanked them for the interest, made it clear I was no longer interested and would not do the interview. I remained polite, then blocked the number so I could enjoy my vacation without their constant pressure.

Despite the blockage, on the very day of my return, they called me twice in a row from another number, and this during my lunch break.

Honestly, I don’t understand how an organization supposed to conduct investigations, and especially apparently an investigation related to sexual harassment in 2025-25, finds it normal to ignore personal boundaries to this extent. Their behavior towards me was clearly intrusive, pushy, and frankly unacceptable.

They send you five francs with their first letter, as if that then gives them permission to harass you non-stop, thinking of dangling you with a pseudo “carrot” because they are going to pay you another 30.– after the interview… no but what?? Stop it guys.

How dare they do a social survey when you harass society like that??!
