Turns out UK Councils weren’t actually spending £12bn a year on Woke Services (if anything the “Woke” stuff like flying pride flags was specifically done BECAUSE it was cheap and easy) so Reform aren’t actually finding those massive easy cuts they promised.
Where is the DOGE unit? Where are the savings? Did the money go to buy Farage’s girlfriends house in Clacton?
They are grifters, it is as simple as that. But they are ahead in the polling.
Anyone know what the overspend was in the previous year?

People of Kent voted for it, so now they should have it clearly explained to them why they have to foot the shortfall personally.
And I’ll bet you they won’t be held to account for it in the wider media nor by the general public. Some smaller outlets like this may pick up on it and credit to the for it, but let’s see how much traction this gets in the national outlets given they don’t really even need to do any work to do so, and basically would just need to re-report what is right there in this article.

Yeah, seems a problem with Kent County Council looking at figures from past years. Not just a problem of Reform.
Is this something people will feel locally? Or does this overspend get pushed up the chain to become the Rachel Reeves problem?
