On “Përballje Podcast”, political analyst Melazim Koci gave an important warning about the current political situation in Kosovo, calling this moment one of the most delicate in recent years.
He stressed that the country is in the midst of multiple pressures, where Serbia’s disinformation and hybrid operations are making the most of internal tensions.
Koci said that the situation has become extremely dangerous and requires immediate prudence from political entities.
“It has become imperative for political entities to reduce tensions. For a very simple reason, Kosovo is on the cutting edge of Serbia’s hybrid war,” he added.
Koci said that hybrid actions do not come only from Serbia, but are also intertwined with influences from other international actors.
“That hybrid war of Serbia that is being waged from the center in Nis, in Belgrade… and if I may say Moscow. Because it is a combined Russian-Serbian war,” he emphasized.
According to Koci, internal polarization makes Kosovo even more vulnerable.
“If we accuse each other, this is a Serbian agent, that is Serbia’s man… that hybrid war multiplies,” he declares.
Koci adds that it is extremely easy for Serbian structures to create fake profiles on social networks.
“It’s not difficult to open a thousand profiles in Belgrade with Albanian names and add fuel to the fire,” Koci declares.
The analyst said that the rhetoric of recent days has crossed all limits.
“Reducing tensions has never been more important. Hate speech must be removed from the vocabulary immediately. There has been dangerous rhetoric. Kosovo must maintain calm,” he concluded. /Telegraph/
