Turhan Çömez shared the invoice of the sale of live animals to the Meat and Milk Institution from the company established by the General Manager of the Meat and Milk Institution in Hungary.

"- What did Taylan say? He said, “I have never done business.” Look, this document is Mücahit Taylan’s company, and at the bottom it says Meat and Milk Institution. These are the documents and invoices for selling goods and live animals to the Meat and Milk Institution from the company of which Mucahit Taylan is a partner. Saying he didn’t sell is a big lie. I am ready to send this document to the esteemed minister."

Mücahid Taylan, General Manager of Meat and Milk Institution, made a statement on the subject and wrote the following:

"Recently, it has been observed that some media outlets have made various allegations about me and the company located in Hungary that do not reflect the truth. It was necessary to make this statement in order to inform the public correctly.

I would especially like to point out that, apart from the period after September 14, 2023, when I was appointed as a Board Member of the Meat and Milk Institution (ESK), the company in question in Hungary has no import or export activities towards Türkiye or EU countries since 2021. In this context, the company does not supply or commercially sell goods, products or commodities, nor does it have any activities within the scope of production, sales, distribution or service provision within Hungary.

It is an impossible fiction for the company, which has not had any commercial activities within the borders of EU countries and Turkey for years, to engage in commercial activities with ESK and any private organization or third party company with which ESK has commercial relations.

In this context, the allegations that the company in Hungary has established a commercial relationship with the Meat and Milk Institution (ESK) or made sales to this institution are completely far from reality and can be revealed even with a simple audit in which there is no indirect or direct sales activity. While this is the case; It is obvious that the statements of the claimants, devoid of any basis, are intended to defame me and my institution.

The allegations made about me are unfounded, and both my personal activities and the activities of the company in question are carried out in accordance with the relevant legislation and ethical rules. All my colleagues are witnesses that, as a name coming from within the sector, I use all my knowledge in line with the interests and benefits of our institution and state.

I respectfully inform the public that I will initiate the necessary legal and criminal processes by exercising all my legal rights against the persons or institutions that bring up these slanderous allegations and that I will follow up this process."
