    Review of the antipolish book promoted by German-Polish House in Berlin


    German-Polish House was promised to help in better education about crimes commited against Poles at WW2. Instead they started to promote a new book Polscy Burmistrzowie i Holocaust (Polish Mayors and Holocaust) by Grzegorz Rossoliński-Liebe which is spreading pure antipolish propaganda. IPN published 47 sites long review summarize propagandistic statements of the author. Here’s the review:

    TLDR:

    • The book shows Poles as massive collaborators and jeweaters,

    • marginalizes german participation in commiting crimes,

    • lies that polish officials had big anthonomy from Germans and had so much invention in commiting crimes agaist Jews (irl administration from the lowest to the highest levels were domintated by Germans and left Poles had no choice to just be submissive),

    • states that General Governorate was official, legal successor of 2nd Polish Republic,

    • shows heroes rescuing many Poles and Jews like mayor of Warsaw Julian Kulski as mass murderers participating in crimes,

    • states that disposals were also written in polish so Poles of course had to participate in crimes,

    • states that Poles seen Germans as the Master Race, so Poles tried to be friends with them!!!

    The book was written under patronate of Fritz Thyssen foundation. Thyssen was opressed by Nazi regime. He was ex-Nazi, who started to critize their ECONOMIC policy and that’s the only reason why he changed his mind and later have been opressed.

    Do Germans try to shift blame from them to Poles or just hired incompetent people to run the German-Polish House? I remind that 12 years ago german state television ZDF produced drama Generational War (Unsere Mutter, Unsere Vater / Nasze matki, nasi ojcowie) which showed polish partisants from Home Army / Armia Krajowia as collaborating jeweaters.

      The perfect fuel for Russian propaganda, which has always promoted more or less this kind of view on the matter. Putin will be able to carry out the „denazification” of Poland together with the AfD — just like he is “denazifying” Ukraine now.

      Just to clarify: it is anti polish to talk about polish collaborators in the holocaust?
      I see in no sentence of description any diminishing of the German main guilt in the holocaust

      aside from trying to put the blame on us for THEIR crimes, „poles seen germans as the master race, so poles tried to be friends with them”…. wtf???? why would we see them as anything positive at that time, let alone a „master race”???
