Do you believe in a thing called love — especially at a loud volume and sung extremely high?
That may be because of 2000s hit rock band The Darkness, whose chart-topping “I Believe in a Thing Called Love” was everywhere at the time.
The Darkness is still around, and in fact just announced what NME characterized as its biggest tour in 20 years.
Unfortunately for those who are stateside, all of the dates on the 2026 tour are currently “across the pond” in the United Kingdom.
Still, for those who care to see the Darkness, and hear tracks from their new album “Dreams on Toast‚” there are seven 2026 dates on the tour starting with the Glasgow OVO Hydro on Dec. 8 and finishing with the band’s first ever headline performance at The O2 in London on Dec. 16, according to Blabbermouth.
A full set of dates and locations is at the bottom of this article.
Presale for the tour starts at 10 a.m. on this coming Wednesday, Nov. 26, and general sale sarts at 10 a.m. on Friday, according to Blabbermouth.
The Darkness will be performing with the Brothers Osborne.
The Darkness frontman Justin Hawkins said of the tour: “Powerful rock was designed to be played in huge rectangular buildings. Huge rectangular buildings were designed to house powerful rock bands. The Darkness are a powerful rock band and the arenas listed below are huge rectangular buildings. Except for the exception which proves the rule. Thank you O2 Arena….”
