Ukraine will begin talks with the US on the 28-point peace plan jointly suggested by Russia and the US tomorrow in Geneva.
National security advisers from France, Britain, Germany and European Union officials will also be present.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he had appointed a delegation to discuss with Washington a plan to stop Russia’s war in Ukraine.
“I have signed a decree on the composition of the Ukrainian delegation and approved all relevant directives,” the Ukrainian president said.
“Our representatives know how to protect Ukraine’s national interests and exactly what is needed to prevent Russia from carrying out a third invasion, another attack against Ukraine.”
According to Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Ukraine is entering the final stage of talks with the US with a “clear understanding” of its national interests.
“These days in Switzerland, we begin consultations between senior Ukrainian and US officials on the possible parameters of the future peace agreement,” he said. /Telegraph/
