Hi everyone! I’m a licence plate collector in the UK, and adding a Monaco plate to my collection would honestly be a real dream come true. I know they’re incredibly hard to get, but I thought I’d ask here just in case someone has one lying around that they don’t need anymore.
It doesn’t need to be perfect — used or worn plates are completely fine with me. I just really love collecting plates from unique places, and Monaco would be something special.
If anyone happens to have a Monaco plate, or even a spare France plate as well, I’d be really grateful to hear from you. Thanks so much!

They stay with the owner. I don’t know what happens to worn out ones.
I sold my BMW and when you sell, you need to give the plates back to the government. My friend found a licence plate on the road once and kept it haha
Monaco plates are actually really expensive on the used market because they aren’t suppose to leave the country after you sell your car. So there aren’t a ton out there in the current style.
I have a French plate, and various other European plates. I also have lots of US plates from various states. Dm me. I will trade you some for that long Liechtenstein sample if you’re interested, or I could sell you them.
The government office keeps them when a vehicle is sold to France or any other country
