  1. I wonder how much of a PITA it was to get Jeff in there without the cleanroom suit for the PR photo.

Hopefully they have ~~played~~ simulated the mission in KSP enough times to remember to put wide landing legs.

    And a ladder.

Enjoy the last generations of engineers.

In the near future, this will disappear in exchange of feeding social media addicts.

  4. If I’ve learned one thing from KSP is that either that lander is not wide enough for how tall it is, or they really need to find some very flat ground to land it on.

  5. Can someone photoshop out that bald billionaire? He’s messing up the shot. Yea, funding for these projects is necessary, but he didn’t build a goddamn thing.

  6. Makes me think of that photo where something similar got knocked over and some people are standing there like, “well, shit.”

  7. Correct me if I am wrong arent you supposed to at least wear a minimal amount of clean gear when you are around these things. So as to not introduce unwanted foreign material to the satellite?

  8. Acronyms, initialisms, abbreviations, contractions, and other phrases which expand to something larger, that I’ve seen in this thread:

To do what exactly? The money wasted on this could have fed a lot of hungry children. The world is messed up.

    Fantastic effort!

Now this would be an excellent time SpaceX show their actual lunar lander as they have had more time than blue origin to develop and construct their lunar lander actual flight hardware…. Where is it?
