Fort Campbell to be turned into a family park

I’ve spent a lot of time at Fort Campbell, exploring it. I love the view there is, the peace and quite and the critters you can see if you’re lucky. And while I want more national parks, I’m not sold on Fort Campbell.

The main effect this will have is on the peace and quiet of Selmun. Go on a Sunday and you already see a lot of people, especially people in Land Rovers thinking they’re on a Lunar Mission. Besides that, I feel developing it would open the door to further developments in the area (which do happen but at least they’re isolated for the most part). It’s a very slippery slope to having more blocks of flats built up in the very few nature areas we have.

The Fort desperately needs to be repaired in some way but I’m not convinced this is the way to go about it.
