You’ve reopened the border just because closing it in the first place hurt your own economy. It has very little to do with demonstration of power or your good will.
First they introduce sanctions and iron curtain, then they are astonished that Belarus is not as sovereign as it should be. Sure, there was a reason for the sanctions, but one has to be aware of the impact of one’s own actions as well.
