Kosovo Philharmonic concert in a Vatican Basilica, Kurti goes to attend, Çeku gives details

Acting Minister of Culture, Hajrullah Çeku, highly praised the performance of the Kosovo Philharmonic and Opera at a concert held last night at the Basilica of Santa Maria in Aracoeli in the Vatican, describing it as a night that filled him with pride.

Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti was also present there.

The concert was held in collaboration with the Bartolucci Foundation, as part of the Jubilee activities at the Vatican.

Çeku said that the performance of the orchestra, choirs and soloists Besa Llugiqi, Ivana Hoxha, Carlos Cardoso and Biagio Pizzuti, under the direction of the Italian master Jacopo Sipari di Pescasseroli, brought a powerful interpretation of Domenico Bartolucci’s oratorio “La Tempesta sul Lago”.

He emphasized that the evening demonstrated the power of art as the best representative of the state on international stages, in front of a wide cultural and diplomatic audience, congratulating the institutions and artists for their extraordinary work.
