  1. A tory telling it like it is? I’m shocked too.

Plus the “outrage” reported? Smells of foreign money to me. It serves the interests of the rich that you ignore how they are robbing you blind because you’re being encouraged to hate your neighbours instead.

The Tories are on their way to zero seats for good reason, the majority of them are further left than Labour.

  3. Any logo that features a gold circle is now nazism.

Shit like this is what is going to contribute to them getting into power.

One’s a party logo, the other was an award for being a good Nazi. So, the context in which they are being used is very different.

Looking at both images now, I can’t see any resemblance between the two other than the ring shaped edge and perhaps golden hue. I don’t think these two features are widely associated with Nazism.

  5. >This will be on leaflets and ad vans to the point of saturation, so every single one of their constituents knows: the Tories think that if you support Reform, you’re a Nazi.

I mean to be fair they don’t do an awful lot to dissuade those sort of comparisons. Getting rid of Farage would be a good start given his, dubious, history. They are stuck with him though, there’s no party if he goes so this is going to keep coming back up.

That shirt is a bit, yeah, though. Don’t even need to bother comparing the golden emblem, did anyone even consider that maybe they shouldn’t make it black.

Shit like this is what’s going to get Reform in power. Hyper-focusing on aesthetics and timid connections that galvanise their base into a defensive stance rather than combating them on the actual issues.

  7. Until I see goosestepping, swastikas or gas chambers, I’m gonna call bullshit on the whole “they are a Nazi'”

Calling folks a Nazi when they are clearly not just dilutes the word and it’s entire meaning.

Anyone throwing it around for clout or political points should be bloody ashamed of themselves.

  8. You know when you say a word so much that it loses its meaning?

That’s what the left has done to the word “Nazi.” They have somehow managed to cheapen one of the most evil groups imaginable to nothing more than a meme. It’s disrespectful to all those actually affected by actual Nazi atrocities.

  9. For anyone not wanting to read the article. The title is again trash. He didn’t compare the Reform LOGO to the Natzi Swastika.

Farage tweeted an announcement of a new Reform Party BADGE. Which included a golden circular border. The Tory Chairman compared that to the Natzi Party BADGE, which also included a gold circular border.

However, the comparison wasn’t that it looked the same, but it was drawing attention to the similarities of a far right party issuing badges so people can show adherence to the party.

  10. Reform are very confident. Katie Lamb as Tory leader could take on and beat reform. Reform is partly a Farage cult.

  11. I wish the focus would be on Reform policy deconstruction instead of calling them names.

This crap has historically *proven* to galvanise more people towards them.

Anyone who seriously thinks reform is anything remotely like the Nazi party needs a desperate reality check.

  13. Circular motifs are pretty popular, especially so as badges.

The only tell I can see is that the Reform logo is an oversized (because it encroaches on the border) arrow. A big arrow pointing to the right.

As a Frenchman that “Family, Community, Country” reminds me of the “Travail, Famille, Patrie” (Work, Family, Country) slogan of the Vichy regime.

    It’s probably unrelated…

  15. Some absolutely unhinged lunacy in this thread.

Massive own goal for the Tories. Reform aren’t nazis.

  16. Are Reform the only party that sells fan-club merch? Seems very weird to me. Politicians shouldn’t be celebrities.
