      Yes the left-wing are being manipulated by foreign actors to destabilise the country.

      So are the right, but, I often see the left throw this accusation at the right without considering they are also being manipulated

      The operation this article is referring to is about 5 not very high quality Twitter accounts that post/retweet each other’s mostly AI generated content.

      The one good thing Elon Musk has done with Twitter. No issue with people having views and discussing news and politics in other countries. I do it too. But pretending to be a local and thereby building clout and influence over discourse you have no stake in the game over should be stopped.

      Nationalist and pro-Brexit politics are divisive, as is left-leaning politics that encourages accepting desperate economic migrants even if that’s to our detriment. It’s logical to weaken foreign powers by isolating and diluting their cultures and encouraging division.
