The National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia has today approved the law that officially recognizes the driving licenses of the Republic of Kosovo.
The news was announced by the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla, who described this as an important step for Kosovar citizens living and working in Slovenia.
“Good news for our citizens and the diaspora in Slovenia. Congratulations!” Gërvalla wrote, expressing gratitude for the cooperation between the two countries.
With this decision, Kosovars who possess a driver’s license issued by Kosovo institutions will be able to use it officially in the territory of Slovenia, without the need for additional recognition or conversion procedures.
This step is expected to facilitate the movement and employment of thousands of citizens from Kosovo living in this EU country. /Telegraph/
