Juventus directors Damien Comolli and Giorgio Chiellini have been forced to travel four hours by car to attend the Champions League match against Bodo/Glimt this evening after their flight was cancelled due to snow.

The match starts at “Aspmyra Stadion” in Bodo tonight at 21:00.

While the team was already there yesterday for training and press conferences, the support staff had hoped to simply fly in today.

That plan was thwarted by the Scandinavian weather, as the CEO and Director of Football Strategy saw their private jet forced to land in Arvidsjaur, Sweden, this morning.

The snowfall did not stop long enough for the airport in Bodo to open, so Tuttomercatoweb reports that the two Juventus executives made the remaining 360 km journey by car. The journey took around four hours.

They hope to witness Juventus’ first win of this Champions League season, after a disappointing record of three draws and a defeat to Real Madrid./Express newspaper/
