What happened here? It’s quite baffling. Glad victims don’t have to go through a trial.
Oh, so despite the claims of Reddit experts it wasn’t in fact ”a drunken mob” that was responsible for the whole thing.

I wonder what ‘some length’ actually means, the courts aren’t really well known for handing out stiff sentences for vehicular crimes.
If the exact same context was put behind a driver who wasn’t white, I’m so serious we would have had more riots on the street. The discourse behind this incident makes me feel so sick

Absolutely awful. Surprised he didnt plead guilty outright, all of the video footage would not have saved him from that jury.
He could have killed people, including the 6 month old baby.

Long sentence and a lifetime driving ban should be in order.

Honestly, it sounds like he drives like a colossal prick, and thanks to his prickitude ended up in a situation where he injured a very large number of people.
This situation was entirely of his own making.

I was there on Water Street the day it happened (luckily no injuries) and firsthand know how traumatic that day was. As he fucking should plead guilty.
it was obvious to anyone with eyes and common sense who walks down the street literally any day that this was just an arsehole in a car who was mad he was inconvenienced, but instead you have the contrarians who have to pretend that it isn’t a common occurrence for road users to do whatever they want regardless of how ot affects other people.
As the court charges didn’t state ‘driving under the influence’ then’ I assume his toxicology test came back negative. Would that be a correct assumption? I thought he might have been on cocaine or steroids.
It does make me wonder what he was like behind closed doors, if he could get that enraged just driving.
“Parade crash” is an absolute joke. He tried to murder a toddler.
