The Triangle offers several turkey trots on Thanksgiving
morning.

Thousands of runners and walkers will participate before divulging
in turkey and a Thanksgiving feast.

Here’s a look at some of the events in the Triangle area:

NOG Run Club’s Trophy Turkey Trot 5K starts at 9 a.m. at
1251 Goode St. in Raleigh. The race is through Dorothea Dix Park, followed by
an afterparty at Trophy Brewing Co. Registration is required. It costs $50 for individual participants in the 5K or $175 for a family of four or more.

The Trosa
Turkey Trot 5K is sold out
. It starts at 8 a.m. at 1820 James St. in
Durham.

Online
registration is closed
for the 20th annual Gobbers Run 5K in
Wake Forest. People can still register in person at packet pickup from 4 p.m.
to 7 p.m. Wednesday or on race morning from 6:45 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. Packet
pickup is at the Wake Forest Boys and Girls Club at 325 S. Wingate St. in Wake
Forest.
