If a communist party is to be banned I would expect braunists to be banned too considering that fascism is also illegal

    2. Pointless publicity stunt. There is no real communist party in Poland or elsewhere in the Western world.

However, why won’t he ban kibole, who are fascist to say the least? Because it is his background.

Communism in Polish law is treated as a totalitarian regime anyway of which promotion is forbidden. The existence of this party is based on a technicality. I support closing that bullshit.

    4. But what communist party do we have?

The closest we got to communism was his maternal party 😂

    5. Populist bs. The worst kebab in Warsaw is more popular than the communist “party”. It’s basically the least popular LARP group in the country.

    6. a PR move with close to non substance. Cool that they did it, but realistically it has no impact on anything – the party in question consists of literally handful individuals noone heard of.

    7. How on earth could you possibly disagree it’s like someone saying murder is bad and you start arguing

    8. Useless move that only feeds anti-Polish propaganda. When the communist party is legal and has 5 members, you can’t say “the liberal establishment is oppressing the people, where’s that democracy they hold so dear?”

    9. This communist party has a whopping 300 members approximately. It’s completely insignificant.

    10. Since we were suffering from 2 totalitarian systems: nazism and communism – i think that those 2 should be banned long ago.

    11. Power move, ban what’s already non-existent.

Also this technically gives him power to say ‘this party is opposing me therefore they are communist’ and try to push the ban on them.

    12. The communist party in question has less than 300 members of median age of 75. Hardly anyone in PL is even aware of their existence. So yes, going to war against some geriatric LARPers is a cheap publicity stunt.

    13. There wasn’t a true communist movement in Poland for some time now. Komunistyczna Partia Polski is nothing more than Russia’s disturbance asset.

    14. Just pointless virtue signaling, the KPP is a bunch of losers but they’re completely irrelevant.

Tbh, kinda shocked it wasn’t done sooner given polish history. I get it’s basically just a cheap win, but better now then ever xp

Honestly? No matter if it’s geriatric or very obscure, it must go. Fuck communism. But let’s not make it into something big. It’s like finally getting rid of the silverfish in your bathroom. They’re disgusting, but ultimately harmless, just like the CPP.

    17. As an actual socialist/communist, I’d get rid of this ‘komunist’ party myself 😂

Communist party literally doesn’t exist in Poland and doesn’t have any role/influence. Communism is widely hated. I don’t see an issue with the ban, considering nazi-related stuff is alrerady banned.

    19. I am against. It’s nonsense, nobody takes communism seriously no more. No one will make such party and it will not be popular. It’s just a political stunt. And it bans ideology – which I think is always bad. Yea yea, if anything, national far right ideologies are dangerous. And surely more dangerous nowadays than some “communism” from century ago.
