Kosovo is strengthening its tourism profile thanks to several areas with extraordinary cultural, mountainous and health potential.
In “Përballje Podcast”, a production of Telegrafi and supported by the fuel company EXFIS, Baki Hoti from the Kosovo Tourism Union emphasized that Prizren remains the main center of cultural tourism.
“We in tourism call Prizren the capital… Therefore, it has extraordinary potential,” said Hoti, highlighting the city’s role in festivals, cultural heritage and the unique atmosphere that attracts visitors throughout the year.
Regarding mountain tourism, Hoti emphasized that Rugova is also recording extraordinary growth.
“In the mountain tourism sector, we have the Rugova region… where day by day it is seeing a record number of visitors,” he said.
According to him, this development is related to the numerous activities in the area that have made Rugova a sustainable destination for local and international tourists.
Hoti also spoke about the types of tourism that Kosovo can develop in parallel, including health and dental tourism.
According to him, the country has a great advantage in this regard.
“The prices are very cheap. The standard of ordinances is very high compared to Europe,” he declared.
He proposed that dental tourism be transformed into an integrated tourist package, combining health services with visits to destinations within Kosovo.
“Why not invite people with a dental appointment and stay for a few days – where they can walk, eat, and drink?” said Hoti.

According to him, such a package could bring groups from abroad, offering them dental services at a cost that “is not even half the cost of getting your teeth fixed in Germany.”
Hoti emphasized that with clear orientation, organization and professional promotion, Kosovo can develop several forms of tourism simultaneously and become a competitive destination in the region../Telegraph/.
