Why wait until Saturday to watch college football? Some of the biggest matchups this week are happening on Black Friday, when we could see multiple Power Four teams, including Texas A&M and Indiana, clinch spots in their conference title games with wins and a few others can effectively punch their playoff tickets.

Buckle up for a fun day of football as the final weekend of the regular season really gets rolling.

No. 7 Ole Miss at Mississippi StateNoon ET, ABC

This may not look like marquee showdown on paper, but the Egg Bowl is known to bring some wacky hijinks. The Rebels are on track to host a College Football Playoff game with a win and the future of coach Lane Kiffin could have clarity at some point immediately after the game. Will he stay or will he go?

No. 3 Texas A&M at No. 16 Texas7:30 p.m. ET, ABC

All that stands between Texas A&M and the school’s first undefeated regular season since 1994 as well as a trip to the SEC title game is a trip to its hated rival. A&M QB Marcel Reed is also in position to be a Heisman finalist if he has a big game. Can Texas and QB Arch Manning spoil the party?

    Lane Kiffin said in an SEC Network interview that Mississippi State fans broke into their locker room at 3 a.m. and stole the jersey of Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss. Ole Miss apparently has video of the incident.

    Ole Miss got the ball first and took no time marching down the field. After a long completion from Trinidad Chambliss to Harrison Wallace, Kewan Lacy bolted around the edge for a 32-yard touchdown to get things started.

    Marshall Faulk is headed to Southern University.

    The HBCU struck a three-year deal to make Faulk its next head coach on Wednesday afternoon. It marks Faulk’s first head coaching job in college football. Faulk, 52, spent this past season on staff with Deion Sanders in Colorado as the team’s running backs coach.
