Retail sales in Bosnia and Herzegovina climbed 9% year-on-year in October 2025, following a 3.7% gain in the previous month.

This marked the highest reading since May 2024, as retail activity significantly increased in automotive fuel (12.6% vs 10.9% in September) and non-food products (12.7% vs 3.2%).

On the other hand, sales declined for food, beverages, and tobacco (-0.5% vs 0.2%).

On a monthly basis, retail trade advanced by 3.4% in October, rebounding from a downwardly revised 1.1% drop in the preceding period.
