NORWAY, Maine (WGME) — The Fire Marshal’s Office says authorities fought three fires early Friday morning in Norway and South Paris.

The Fire Marshal’s Office says the first fire was reported a little before 2 a.m. at 69 Beal Street, and the second was reported around 45 minutes after that at 32 Alpine Street, both in Norway.

As a fire marshal’s investigator was responding to those two incidents, they reportedly came upon another fire at 27 Alpine Street in South Paris.

The investigator reportedly woke up two people inside right away and rescued them from the second floor of the building with a ladder.

Authorities say they are investigating all three fires.
