The Kosovo national team has scored a victory on the road to Albania, as part of the pre-qualifiers for “Euro Basket 2029”.
The “Dardans” put in a fantastic performance to win by 15 points 84-99 (14:25, 14:19, 32:30, 24:25).
Kosovo started very well with a big lead of 11 points in the first quarter 14:25. They continued at the same pace in the second quarter, which ended with a five-point lead 14:19, thus going into the break with a 16-point advantage.
Albania tried to recover in the third quarter, but they only advanced by two points to 32:30, or in other words, they reduced the overall score to 14 points.
In the last quarter, Kosovo maintained the score to close with a one-point lead of 24:25, or a total of 84:99.
Dardan Berisha was unstoppable with 35 points, three rebounds and six assists, while Albania’s Juljan Hamati had 19 points.
Albania thus records its second loss in these pre-qualifiers, while Kosovo starts with a victory.Telegraph/
