
“Laos has achieved significant success in building a strong state and is confidently moving along the path of social and economic development, while contributing to peace and security in the world and the region, and holding a worthy place at the international stage,” the congratulations reads.
The Belarusian leader stated that Minsk- Vientiane relations demonstrate positive dynamics, which indicates mutual interest in strengthening political, trade, economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian areas in accordance with traditions established decades ago.
According to Aleksandr Lukashenko, both countries have the necessary interstate instruments and substantive agreements to unleash the economic potential of the partnership, “I hope we will shortly launch joint projects in industrial modernisation, food security, agricultural mechanisation, and other areas of fundamental importance to our countries.”
The President of Belarus stated that he would be delighted to welcome the President of Laos in Minsk on an official visit to discuss top-priority items on bilateral agenda, regional and international issues.
