      This was stupid declaration, especially made in a place he was. PIS and its media will be reminding it till next elections. “Tusk wants to pay for German crimes out of Polish budget”. Basically “opposite reparations”.

      If he said something like that during some WW2 memorial it could be understood as “support for our veterans/victims” but in that context it’s “we not only won’t get Germans to pay but we will be paying for them”.

      Well we can say all the crap on him. But he knows that there will never be any compensation from Germany.
      We need to wake the f up that there was a time for reparations and that time is over. Europ is in crisis. There is no USA to protect it. If anyone think that Germany will pay anything is just a lunatic or person who don’t understand what’s going in Germany and how many other country’s would want reparation. That’s just about it. Yes we should blame Tusk, Kaczyński, Miller for not getting this money when Germany was 15 years ago in it peek.

      I know political game is often dirty but attacking Tusk for saying that if we can’t rely on Germany then the Polish goverment will support the WWII survivors who had to go through living nightmare is just morally wrong.

      But Poland is already paying various payouts to it’s IIWW citizens and survivors and victims.

      I find direction in which Tusk is moving concerning or even bizarre.

      Same with European justice court ruling about marriage status.
