“What are you going for, wolf?” is an audiobook about a man walking through his own swamp of memory, shame, and legacy. The story’s voice wanders between the past and the present, between God and the devil, between the desire to escape and the impossibility of breaking away from one’s roots. There is no gloss and false hopes here – only a living, painful, but well-known Belarusian reality.

This is a story about what the inner wolf sounds like when it has been silent for a long time: dark humor, hard realism, remnants of faith, anger, weariness and love that is still there somewhere, although it has been long forgotten. The audiobook creates not so much a plot as an atmosphere – thick, swampy, full of language and intonations, in which it is easy to recognize yourself and your country.
