      How the hell did they leave him alone near children? Did that nursery have no safeguards at all? I do hope he is not the only one going to jail.

      Every time I start coming around to the idea of putting my toddler in nursery with strangers, something like this pops up and reminds me why I havent done so already. I know the risk is small, but its a risk nonetheless. A relative came *this* close to enrolling her baby in Vanessa George’s nursery back in the day, I’ve been wary ever since

      I feel like what with the govt’s push to give free nursery places to all so both parents can work, we’re just gonna see more cases like this

      My niece is studying childcare and got a work placement at a nursery, she was given babies to mind before her background checks had even been completed, they were that oversubscribed and understaffed they didnt give a toss if she was a nutcase

      Plus, what does a background check even mean? It doesnt mean you’re not a monster, it just means you’ve never been convicted of anything. I knew a guy who was arrested for having sick illegal content on his laptop. CPS took no further action due to some BS loophole so he wasnt even given a caution; therefore his background checks show nothing. He’s still a paedophile, they dont just stop being weird because they got caught once. Oh and heres the real kicker, he works in IT, often in *schools*

      Maybe we should not have a system where a business can run over 100 nursey schools like they are branches of Subway!

      In the video of him being arrested, he just kind of shakes it off like he has no empathy for his actions. The only thing he regrets is being caught.

      Does anyone imagine rehabilitation applies to a person so far into their lives and sees the existence of those poor kids as an opportunity?

      The families should be heard nationally, and as a nation, we need to keep revising our laws. I’m starting to question how we can afford these beasts when we’re not even sure whether we’re a nation that should feed every child at school.

      It was just yesterday I commented to someone close to me – she’s an amazing child practitioner. About the need for male role models in nurseries, because some children will respond very well to a man, and my experience with autism leads me to believe that the right man can make a key difference in early years development, especially when a father figure is missing.

      I struggle to imagine our culture will ever be ready for that when I see this!!

      Beyond devastated for the victims and their families.

      I’m a father of two nursery-aged children, and I cannot begin to even fathom the pain and suffering these poor people will be going through because of this monster.

      How was this allowed to happen?

      I hope he lives the remainder of his days in the purest form of pain and misery.

      So sad.
