Kosova is aiming to position itself as one of the leaders in the field of air defense in Eastern Europe.
This was announced by Ridvan Aliu, head of the Future Minds Academy, after an important meeting with the American companies Lockheed Martin and Boeing.
Aliu said that during the meeting, the development and advancement of SKIFTERI drones were discussed, with the aim of making them competitive at the regional level and increasing Kosovo’s technological presence in the defense sector.
“The year 2026 will be the year of Kosovo, the year of Albanians,” declared Aliu, emphasizing the ambition to position SKIFTERI drones at the top of Eastern Europe in the field of Air Defense.
Aliu has described this initiative as “the beginning of a historic project for the Albanian nation”, signaling great ambitions for technological development and domestic innovation in the field of unmanned aerial devices. /Telegraph/
