“I held a meeting in Kyiv with Slovenian Defense Minister Borut Šahyovits. I thanked Slovenia for its support across all crucial areas, particularly for its involvement in the PURL initiative. This is a vital initiative to strengthen our capabilities, especially in air defense,” said Shmyhal.

The Ukrainian Minister also noted that Slovenia intends to allocate approximately 43 million euros by the year’s end for the initiative.

“We focused on exploring ways to further develop our cooperation. We are prepared to share our experiences in the use of interceptor drones, deepstrike, and other UAV technologies,” Shmyhal added.
