“The policy in Skopje is dictated by Serbia, and Serbia is undoubtedly hostile towards Bulgaria,” Dragi Karov said.

If the Prime Minister of North Macedonia truly wanted the country to be independent, Bulgarians would have long been part of the Constitution, said Dragi Karov, a Bulgarian public figure from North Macedonia, in an interview with BGNES.

Karov claimed that the Macedonian government is involved in and finances Serbian policies in the country.

“The Prime Minister of North Macedonia is working for the ‘Serbian World,’ and his mindset is pro-Serbian. He is a Titoist grandchild and does not work for an independent Macedonia. If he were working for an independent Macedonia and its interests, Bulgarians would have already been included in the Macedonian Constitution, and North Macedonia would be on its path to the EU. He deliberately refuses to allow Bulgarians into the Constitution,” Karov said.

“The policy in Skopje is dictated by Serbia, and Serbia is undoubtedly hostile towards Bulgaria,” the Bulgarian public figure added.

“The policy of hatred against Bulgarians in North Macedonia is promoted by the president, the prime minister, ministers, journalists, judges, and the secret services. Bulgaria must have mechanisms to make the pro-Serbian politicians in Macedonia stop inciting this hatred. These politicians have a pro-Serbian mentality and don’t understand what is good. They think that Bulgaria is weak and that they can say anything bad about Bulgaria and the Bulgarians,” Karov concluded. | BGNES
