The sagging (not necessarily sagging, but that’s what we called it nevertheless) trend also remained until the early/mid 2010s. I can’t believe it lasted that long. Personally, I always hated it.

If I may add, many young guys are tall and slim around the hips, so trousers can sometimes have trouble staying in place.
