Serbian politician Nikola Sandulović has reacted after the swearing-in of the mayors of Serb-majority municipalities, emphasizing that they have accepted the institutions and laws of the independent state of Kosovo.

According to him, all ten mayors of Serbian municipalities in Kosovo, in which they were re-elected under pressure from the Serbian List and in an atmosphere of fear and blackmail, have sworn their oath to the state of Kosovo, with the Kosovo anthem and in front of the figure of Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani.

Sandulović also emphasizes that the documents were provided in two languages, “in Serbian and Albanian, so that there would be no claims later that someone is protecting the Serbian language, customs and culture in Kosovo.”

In his post, the Serbian politician raises a rhetorical question for those who do not accept Kosovo’s independence.

“What else is unclear in the conclusion that Kosovo is an independent state and that Serbs in their municipal authorities recognize it as such?” he wrote.

Sandulović also criticizes Serbian politicians outside Kosovo, adding that “What do you want from Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina? Silence there… as your boss Aleksandar Vučić has already addressed you.”

According to Sandulović, the fact that the mayors of Serbian municipalities have taken their oath and committed to respecting the laws of Kosovo is clear proof that local Serbian institutions function within the structures of the independent state. /Telegrafi/
