“Two teenage asylum seekers from Afghanistan raped a 15-year-old schoolgirl months after arriving in the UK on small boats.

Jan Jahanzeb and Israr Niazal, who both crossed the Channel as unaccompanied minors, attacked the girl in a park in Leamington Spa in May.

The 17-year-olds were living in taxpayer-funded accommodation in the affluent Warwickshire town at the time.”

This was a truly horrific crime, and the victim statement was a difficult read. I really hope she’s able to find some form of peace after what she’s experienced.

Once again, current immigration policy has failed our communities.

  2. This entire article is horrific.

    > During the attack, the girl begged a female passer-by for help but she did not come to her aid.

    wtaf?

  3. There’s just no words left anymore.

No words to describe what is happening in this country

  4. These articles always just blow my mind without even going into the obvious stuff. Just what possesses these people to do this? I cannot imagine going through all the trouble to come here from Afghanistan to do something disgusting like this that you surely know is going to ruin your life? What is going through these people’s minds?

  5. What’s with the fella making 3 attempts to cross the channel before finally succeeding while he doesn’t speak the language or knows anyone over here, only to then commit a horrific crime

She begged someone near by and they did nothing?!

Deport this animal. How many more stories do we need like this?

    Poor girl

  7. What the hell is going on, they need to get a handle on this or this will just get worse and worse until something goes bang

  8. Why is the lawyer saying the one might be able to make a life for himself here after his sentence. What kind of sick person wants a rapist in the country? I understand he’s his lawyer but surely after the sentencing there’s absolutely nothing that requires him to say something like that

  9. I’m speechless at this point.

This country accepts these things happening in order to not ‘violate’ the rights of people who commit these acts?

The rights of these men to not be indefinitely locked up or deported matter more than the rights of this girl to not be raped by monsters calling themselves men?

I’m aware there has to be a balance between infringement of rights but whatever system we have now is unacceptable if cases like this are going to continue happening.

  10. When this was originally reported, they were described as “Two teenagers from Leamington Spa”

  11. I feel like Cato the Elder after repeating myself so many times but here we go again.

    Asylum system delenda est.

  12. I take it after they have been found guilty . They will be refused asylum because they are now convicted criminals. In the words of elvis Presley . Return to sender .

  13. >Niazal pleaded guilty to the rape a day before he turned 17, meaning he cannot be automatically deported.

    >He is still awaiting the outcome of his asylum claim, having arrived in the UK in November last year.

    >His barrister, Joshua Radcliffe, suggested he might still be able to “make a life for himself in this country” when he was released.

    I’m sorry, what?? Deport him

  14. We have all this security for anyone coming into the country legally, via airports, ports and railways and yet boat migrants have no checks performed on them and are absolutely free to roam the streets.

If anyone who wanted to claim asylum was held in a secure facility until their applications were processed then the number of boat crossings would stop overnight.

  15. 1. Risk your life travelling thousands of miles
    2. Pay a ton to get smuggled
    3. Abuse the system to get your way paid in a developed country
    4. Throw it all away to rape some random girl in a public place, getting recorded doing it…

Forget about crime, morality, ethics, whatever. This is just idiotic. We are not even getting their brightest rapists…….

  16. >His barrister, Joshua Radcliffe, suggested he might still be able to “make a life for himself in this country” when he was released.

I am sure I speak for most people when I say “fuck this treasonous, tax payer money hungry scumbag Joshua Radcliffe.” May your name always be remembered for suggesting something so utterly fucking stupid and ignorant.

Is nobody else going to point out that there is no way either of these two monsters are the ages they’re claiming to be?

  18. I fully expect that they won’t be able to be deported …. because their lawyers will say that the Taliban punish rapists harshly or some such.
