We return to the AMA series on jobs: Careers in perspective.
This time we have two hreditors from two different but related areas of IT as our guests:
- u/ninja_nine, Systems Engineer – works on infrastructure, security and systems that support SaaS products.
- u/Knoxcro, Data Center Technician (DCT) – hands-on maintenance of servers, network equipment and other DC components in a large cloud environment.
If you’re interested in what daily work looks like in data centers and SaaS infrastructure, ask them a question. The discussion will be moderated, so please note that troll and offtopic comments will not be allowed.
The participants will answer according to the possibilities of their job positions, which means yes I cannot publicly state the employer’s name or confidential internal detailsbut I can talk about my work, experience and career path.
