And every year the stupid people amongst the British, who do not understand the history of the tree or the reasons for it mock the ‘crappily decorated tree’ if they want shiny lights and stars there are plenty of other trees around London for that. This tree is a gift and js deliberately decorated the way it is as a reminder of what was given to Norway during the war and as a memory of the fallen. (Not all of us Brits are ignorant)
