Mohamed Salah may not be in the Liverpool traveling party to Milan, but the winger’s shadow will remain over the squad and manager Arne Slot as they look for a fourth win during Matchday 6 of the Champions League.

Salah’s explosive comments after being benched for the third straight game following Liverpool’s draw with Leeds United on Saturday has left his future with the club in doubt. Facing an Inter Milan side that is tied for second in the table, Slot said he is focusing on Tuesday’s match before taking on the task of dealing with his unhappy star player.

“After tomorrow we will look at the situation,” Slot said. “There is always the possibility to return for a player. I have no clue [if he has played his last game for Liverpool] — I cannot answer that question at this point in time.”

Chelsea are hoping to get back to winning ways against Atalanta in a battle of 3-1-1 teams. The Blues’ last win in all competitions came during Matchday 5 with a 3-0 win over Barcelona. Since then, two draws and a defeat during Premier League.

Chelsea will have Moisés Caicedo available, but will miss an injured Cole Palmer.

Elsewhere, Barcelona takes on Eintracht Frankfurt, Atalanta meets Chelsea, Spurs host Slavia Prague, and PSV faces Atlético Madrid, among other matches during Tuesday’s Matchday 6.

Serge Gnabry, Lennart Karl and Jonathan Tah all scored for Bayern, and Alphonso Davies entered the game in the 89th minute, his first action since suffering an ACL tear in March while on international duty with Canada.

USMNT players in action Tuesday include Yunus Musah (Atalanta), Folarin Balogun (Monaco), Johnny (Atlético Madrid), Timothy Weah (Marseille), Ricardo Pepi and Sergiño Dest (PSV Eindhoven).
